The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society's Pennies For Patients Campaign

Starting February 19th and running through the 22nd, Fairless Middle School will be participating in The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) Pennies for Patients program; a service-learning program that gives students the unique experience of working together to help raise awareness and funds in honor of thousands of children and adults fighting against blood cancers!

Students can bring in loose change to be able to participate in our spirit days Feb. 19th - 22nd.  Students can turn donations in to their Falcon Time teacher. Spirit Days will include:

Feb 19 - Hat Day - Put a Cap on Cancer

Feb 20 - Camo Day- Make cancer disappear

Feb 21 - Blast From the Past Day- Make Cancer a thing of the past; wear 70's and 80's gear

Feb 22 - College Sweatshirt Day- Get “schooled” in ways to prevent cancer

We will also have a “Stuck For A Buck” Assembly.   On Feb 22 students and staff can donate $1.00 and then receive a strip of duct tape.  They will then use the duct tape to stick Officer Lorenzo to the wall.  With a donation, students will also have the chance to make 3 point shots or spray Mrs. Class with Silly String.

Homerooms that donate $200 or more (ONLINE Only) during the days of Feb 20th and 21st, will earn a pizza party.  If the school brings in more that $750 for the week, then the homeroom that brings in the most, will have a meal brought in by the Olive Garden.
