Blue Ladle Competition Food Drive


Fairless Middle School will be having a Food Drive Sept. 25th - Oct. 1st. to help our local food cupboards.  This is part of the Blue Ladle Competition which is a contest between Fairless and Tuslaw to bring in the most items.  Grocery carts will be located inside the school doors in the morning. A staff member will be there to record the number of items students bring in. The homeroom that brings in the most items will have a treat brought in by Mr. Fogle!  Suggested items for the food cupboard are:


Canned goods

Peanut butter and jelly

Items for holiday baking 

Cereal

Spaghetti sauce and noodles

Dish soap, laundry detergent, hand soap

And other non-perishables

Fairless Middle School has a new security measure. Guests entering the building must scan their ID at the new SchoolSafe ID kiosk. Once the registration process is complete, your badge will be printed in the office. Click here for Mr. Bidlack's message to parents.

Fairless Schools will be launching the “Say Something Anonymous Reporting System” (SS-ARS) with our students in Grades 6-12 the week of November 26th. This program teaches students, teachers, and administrators how to recognize warning signs and signals, especially within social media, of individuals who may be a threat to themselves or others and Say Something to a trusted adult OR use its anonymous reporting system. Specifically, the program educates participants to:

    • Recognize the signs and signals of at-risk behaviors – 
       especially within social media

    • Take every sign and signal seriously; act quickly to get
       help by talking to a trusted adult OR

    • Report it anonymously through SS-ARS 24/7 Crisis
      Center, mobile app, or website

Box Tops and Mids' Lids Collection
We will collecting Box Tops and Mids' Lids.  The Fairless Middle School Parents' Club uses the money from these items for rewards, incentives, and more for our middle school.  Also, the homeroom that bring in the most, each month, will be "sweetly" rewarded.
